The lifelong impacts of trauma on children and adults is widely known.  For years, organizations and champions across Montana have worked to address the impacts of trauma on children, families and communities.

In 2022, the Montana Trauma-Informed Early Childhood Advisory Coalition (MTTIEC) joined these efforts with the goal to support the coordination, expansion and accessibility of trauma-informed trainings and services for early childhood professionals throughout Montana. MTTIEC is made up of organizations and champions across the state who are dedicated to increasing trauma-informed approaches in the early childhood field.
