Community Building

As a vital part of all Montana communities, it is vital for all Montana child care providers to be able to easily access a community of their peers.  The goal of the Community Grant is to provide funds to support child care providers in building and maintaining these communities in order to support provider wellbeing, business practices, family engagement, and more! 

Example Events

  • Advocacy planning (letter writing, meeting with legislatures, community education, etc.)

  • Welcoming event for new child care providers

  • ECE topic discussion group (record keeping, natured based learning, conflict resolution, etc.)

  • Networking event for peer socializing

  • Program open house for other providers

  • Peer observation & feedback group
